The early church saw God demonstrate His power and His salvation in amazing ways. Their lives were transformed by Jesus Christ. One of the things the Lord led them to do was to share with each other sacrificially. The results of this were amazing. But, not everyone was controlled by the Holy Spirit. Some people lied to God. The result for them was tragic.
