Great Tribulation

Difficulties, suffering and tribulation are part of life on earth. Yet Jesus says, "In this world you will have trouble, but take heart - I have overcome the world!" As you examine first century history in Jerusalem, you see that some of Jesus' first followers faced great tribulation when Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed by the Romans in AD 70. And, when you read many of the apocalyptic books of the Bible, you will see descriptions of the great tribulation that is to come during the end times.
